We are looking for someone who is able to apply analytical and machine learning skills to not only maintain current machine learning models in production but also developing new models from start to end.

Under the management and direction of the Head of Analytics, the Data Scientist will have the following responsibilities (including but not limited to);

  • • Development and application of predictive machine learning algorithms
  • • Extracting and combining data from different data sources.
  • • Data processing using various Python libraries, including feature engineering, and training & evaluating machine learning models.
  • • Deploying trained models to production systems
  • • Deploying machine learning models to production systems
  • • Performing deep dive diagnostic analytics in order to identify problem areas
  • • A/B testing (“champion/challenger”) in order to evaluate the results of predictive models and to design an implementation strategy based on the results of the tests
  • • Designing, implementing and executing various health checks on models in production in order to determine if re-alignment or re-development might be necessary


  • • A Degree in Engineering / Applied Mathematics / Statistics with 1 + years’ experience working as a Data Scientist / Analyst OR,
  • • 3 + years’ experience working as a Data Scientist / Analyst
  • • Working experience in the credit industry is preferable but not a requirement
  • • The role will require intermediate to advanced proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel
  • • Experience with relational databases (MS SQL)
  • • Experience in visualising data
