KPA’s: The team Manager will be responsible for target setting, collections performance, quality standards and query and complaints escalations.

The Ideal candidate should meet the following Criteria:

  • Grade 12

  • A minimum of 3 years recent experience in the position of a collections agent – previous exposure / experience in/to a Team Leader function in a debt collections environment would be an advantage

  • Computer literate

  • Bilingual: Fluent in English and one other language

  • Strong communication skills

  • Good analytical skills i.e. must have the ability to analyse & share reports with the team.

  • Ability to negotiate effectively

  • Ability to handle difficult situations

  • Ability to listen actively and provide feedback

  • A pro-active team player – works well in a team and contributes to the team success

  • Understanding of the importance for and how to coach and mentor for improved performance

  • Strong organization and planning skills

  • Excellent “People Skills”

  • Leadership ability

  • Target driven

  • Good time management

  • Ability to work under pressure

    The applicant will be required to perform duties assigned by the Operations Manager
